This year has come to an end, and once again, our page closed with a profit. Unfortunately, it was the smallest profit we have achieved in these 5 years of operation. However, as we have said before, Betting is not a lottery, and our goal is to have fun and make a small profit.
Starting the year, we had a reasonably good start with about €300 in profit. However, the following two months overshadowed this with closing balances of -€150 and -€340, respectively. We faced several setbacks, especially in European games. At the end of the quarter, we found ourselves at a loss of €180. As is our custom, we evaluate our strategy and adjust the odds and betting for the next quarter.
So it happened, in the second quarter, playing more conservatively and slightly reducing the odds but increasing the stake, we managed to reach a total profit of €875. This balanced the bank at €695, resulting in a total profit of €695 for the middle of the year. Unfortunately, we had one or two very bad days with many points lost, so the opportunity to reach a profit of about €1,000, half of what we aim to finish each year, was missed.
Entering the third quarter of 2023, towards the end of the major championships and starting the search for points in some more "unknown" leagues - which, as we have said, hide quite a few "gems" for those who follow them regularly - we had a good August with €411 in profit. September and the start of the championships always bring surprises, and the month closed with just €2 in profit (at least we had a coffee in Novibet's honor). We closed the third quarter with a total profit of €470, and our total accomplice reached around €1,400 in the first 9 months of 2023.
Starting the last quarter of the year, October closed again with a profit, this time adding another €300 to our bank. Then the autumn season started in earnest with European games peaking, recording incredible profits of €614 for November alone! Unfortunately, the year did not end ideally, with many unfortunate events and many games lost literally a minute before the end, resulting in a loss of €410 and closing the year 2023 with a total profit of €1,671.
