Courtois and his wife say they are ready to become parents

Thibaut Courtois and his wife, Michelle Gerzig, who climbed the steps of the church a few months ago, say they are ready to become parents.

Thibaut Courtois climbed the steps of the church with his beloved, Michelle Gerzig, last June. The Belgian goalkeeper of Real Madrid has joined the holy bonds of marriage with his long-time partner.

Although the pair are now going through a tough time as the Queen’s goalkeeper recovers from a torn ACL in his left knee, they say they are ready to become parents.

When asked if they are thinking about expanding their family, Michelle replied: “Of course we want to, yes. I don’t like to plan much, everything comes at the right time.”

Although they have not yet become parents as a couple, the Belgian footballer has two children from his previous relationship with Marta Dominguez, Adriana and Nicola.
