Bellingham is already starting to pay off with a brilliant goal against Man United.

It seems that the money that Real spent on Bellingham is already starting to pay off, as the England international showed very good expectetions in the friendly against Man United, scoring with a chip over Onana, but the goal that "stole" the show was the bicycle kick of Joselu.

Although the score seems to have tilted slightly in Real's favour, the result does not reflect the true Manchester on the pitch. The result simply explained what has plagued Erik ten Hag's team all season, something the stats have always shown: Difficulty in scoring.

And against Real, the picture was the same. Mason Mount found himself in an empty space in the area, but as usual, he failed to threaten the Real's goalkeeper.

But even Rashford couldn't score from a sideline later on. Then when Real closed the spaces in the area, Casemiro and Anthony tried with long shot efforts but without any success.

Other than seeing their new goalkeeper Onana make his debut, United fans didn't have much to cheer in this game.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, had a decent performance and especially Jude Bellingham. Even though Real tried to lower the expectations surrounding the English international, his "shine" was seen in just the first game. We saw a player who plays with a lot of freedom and confidence. His first goal showed his ability to escape from defenders and and breaking the offside trap rushing into the defense's back. Which it did, as after a long through ball, Bellingham found himself one-on-one with Onana near the box area line, and chipped the ball over United's keeper to make the 1-0 for Real.

Maybe Ronaldo's scissors dominated social media a few days ago, despite failing to find the back of the net but now it was Joselu's turn to do the same but this time to score. So after a cross into the box, he launched powerful bicycle kick against De Gea's much-hyped replacement. And while Joselu doesn't expect to become an icon at Real, he knows this goal will boost his chances of doing so, especially as the transfer case with Mbappe continues with no confirmation of his arrival at the Bernabeu.
